Hey, guys? Something to point out here? With Ghost/Fire and Dark/Water, Destram has way more super-effectiveness against Steedim. (Water > Fire, and Dark > Ghost). No advantages for Steedim at all, unless we give it some non-STAB moves, but you all know how well that worked for Groudon (Ground =/= Fire).
Honestly, I like Ghost/Normal. It's unique, for sure.

No, it was... Steedim: Dark/Fire Destram: Ghost/Water That way they both have something over the other.

West is right. That was a typo on my part. Woops.
Steedim: Dark/Fire Destram: Ghost/Water
But we'll have too many Dark/Fire types.... I still think that both being Ghost/Dark is the best way to go, that way neither will have a type advantage over the other. Their movelists will be basically the same whichever way you go...
We could do as Vannah suggested and make Steedim Dark/Psychic and Destram Dark/Ghost. It would also be a great way for the Bug legendary that was suggested somewhere else to have a major role against Steedim, and also maybe make it Bug/Psychic so that Destram can take the Bug out with its Ghost attacks. It forms a perfect Trifecta.
Forgot my QotD: "Above all, we are coming to understand that the arts incarnate the creativity of people. When the creative impulse cannot flourish, when it cannot freely select its methods and objects, when it is deprived of spontaneity, then society severs." ~John Fitzgerald Kennedy, May 29, 1917 - November 22, 1963

My vote is still... Steedim: Dark/Ghost Destram: Dark/Ghost Since you have already come up with the stats, XIV, we can work together to make a move list for both of them, to fit their stats. This type match up will probably be the best like already suggested, so we just need to work on the move lists for these types. But, there go my two cents for today...

You're actually right there number. I didn't think of how many Dark/fire pokemon there are. It's not exactly a "legendary" sort of combination. Dark/Ghost, Drak/Psychic and Bug/Psychic is a good power-triangle to work with.
I'm totally against Dark/Ghost being BOTH of their types. It's not very original thinking (no offense). Legendaries that form a trio need to be opposing, not exactly the same.

No, it was... Steedim: Dark/Fire Destram: Ghost/Water That way they both have something over the other. Alright. That makes more sense. Honestly, I don't care too much what types they are. Although if we are going to make them into a trio with a bug legendary (?), then I like the triangle XIV suggested. :3

I'm for Ghost/Fire and Dark/Water. Good combinations, fair advantages over each other and they fit well together. With those types they actually seem like to opposing legendaries instead of simply two legendary pokemon. Yes, I agree too. And I'm not much for the whole Ghost/Dark thing anyway... it makes them too... invincible? Well if they have wonder guard. LOL But no weakness is still good... for them. But that kinda takes the fun out of trying to catch them by not having weaknesses to "not accidentally KO them with"... you know? Sorry, I think I was rambling. XD

How is Dark/Ghost, Dark/Psychic and Bug/Psychic balanced? The bug legendary scores four time effective STAB against Dark/Psychic and neutral STAB on Dark/Ghost, while the other two score a 2 time effective stab on the bug. Dark/Psychic gets owned by either of the two, since it won't score aggainst the dark/ghost one, and ist killed by the bug. I dont know about you guys, but that doesn't seem too blanced to me.
I really like the Dark/Fire, Ghost/Water idea. So there are many dark/fire types allready, but this is torzach...how many will be in this game? And if you want a triangle make the bug part fighting. That way al three will be able to have an advantage over the other two. Dark/Fire stabs Bug/fighting with fire, and Ghost/Water with dark. While it's imune to the fighting stab of the bug, and scores against the Dark/fire with its water stab attacks. The Bug is able to hit the Dark/Fire with stab fighting type moves. This is just my opinion ^^

Dang it... you're absolutely right. Dang. Oh well. New duo: Ghost/Ice, Psychic/Fire The Bug legendary could be maybe Bug/Dark.
I digress.....................
QotD: "Indecision is debilitating; it feeds upon itself,it is, one might say, habit-forming. Not only that, but it is contageous; it transmits itself to others."

I like Although maybe Dark/Ice Ghost/Fire and Bug/Ground would be better. Dark/Ice is good against Ground and Ghost, but weak against fire and bug. Ghost/Fire is good against Ice and Bug, but weak against dark and Ice. Bug/Ground STABs Dark and Fire, but is weak against Ice and Fire. So that way, all three have waknesses and STABs against each other. A Perfect triangle if you will

Alrighty guys, this is the thread where you get to choose what type Destram and Steedim are. Just leave a post saying why you think they should be whatever type you choose ^^ I'll keep this thread up for a week, and then we'll finalize the types. So, get voting ^^ This thread has been open for more than a week, so I will take the liberty of locking it for the time being. Mods, just unlock it if you need to. Well, in any case, that last point made by donveco is correct. I would go with those types as well, since everything is equal.
